External Step Response Example

External Step Response Example

This example shows how to use the External Step Response (ESR) element in Circuit schematics to provide the impulse response data for QuickEye and VerifEye. The example demonstrates how to generate an impulse reponse file using transient analysis. Once the impulse response data has been generated and exported to a file, QuickEye and VerifEye can use the file data to calculate the channel response without re-running transient. This can save time when the channel step response does not change between runs.
