Nexxim Design Examples

Nexxim is a simulator for high-speed, high-density circuit designs. Nexxim provides analyses in the time and frequency domains for all levels of projects, from the characterizing of individual transistor models to the analysis of large-scale integrated devices and communication channels. The topics in this section provide examples of circuit analysis using Designer and Nexxim.

This section assumes you are already familiar with the Designer and Nexxim basics discussed in the online help section Getting Started with Ansoft Designer.

Designer RF focuses on radio-frequency designs. Designer SI concentrates on signal integrity issues. The Nexxim examples are grouped by applicability to RF or SI design problems. As you work through each of the topics, you will:

• Load example designs into Designer for analysis with Nexxim.

• Set up and run the Nexxim analyses.

• Display simulation results using Designer’s reporting functions.
