IdealClone
This type of block shows no physical behavior but simply copies results from a block that it "clones." It is useful for ensuring identical sub-models in your model.
The block that a clone block references can be selected within the Block Properties – General dialog box. The type of this "cloned" block does not matter. Note that any modification performed for the "original" will also be applied to the "copy" (differential ports, etc.). The only exceptions from this rule are the following:
The layout properties that define the position of the block in the layout view: If the referenced block uses layout properties, the clone block will provide an own set of layout properties as well. This enables the clone block to be positioned independently in the layout view. Apart from the layout properties there are no other properties to set.
The deembed block switch: If the cloned block can be de-embedded, the clone block can be de-embedded as well. The switches of both blocks can be set independently from each other.
