Particle Monitor - General Settings

This dialog tab offers the possibility to define some general settings of the particle monitor plane.

Name

Here a name for the particle monitor can be defined either by entering it in the corresponding field or automatically generated by activating the Automatic labelling check button.

Particle Source

In this drop-down list all previously defined particle sources are shown. You can either select a specific source or All sources to be monitored.

Monitoring behavior

Once: The particles are recorded only once (the first time they penetrate the monitoring face).

Always: The particles are monitored whenever they penetrate the face.

Time-span: Monitor the particles during a given time span.
