Nexsys Timestep Example

This section presents two versions of a loop filter that combines Nexxim elements and components from the System simulator component library. The point of this example is to illustrate the concept that time steps in Nexsys depend on whether the source driving the circuit is from the System library or from the Nexxim library. When all sources are from the System library, the time step is fixed and is taken from the sample rates in the System sources, and any timestep set in the transient analysis setup is ignored. When the source is a Nexxim source, the time step is variable, with a taken from the Transient analysis setup.
