Splitting Elements

Elements can be split just as they can be combined. The various ways of splitting an element are presented as different options on the Split submenu on the Filter>Element submenu.

To split elements:

1. Select one or more elements.

2. Click the desired command on the Split submenu on the Filter>Element submenu. Selected elements can be from any parts of the circuit and do not have to be adjacent.

Splitting is an exact-equivalent modification. It does not change the response.
