Probe 鈥?Decoupling Plane
Monitors Field Probe Decoupling Plane
For farfield simulations with models containing an
infinite PEC-plane, a decoupling plane must be applied to separate both
half-spaces for the farfield calculation (e.g. a coplanar antenna with
infinite PEC-plane on a substrate). This plane can be defined either by
automatic detection or by corresponding user settings.
Please note that this page is only available for farfield time domain
probes.
Decoupling plane frame
Automatic
detection: If checked, the program detects if a decoupling plane is
present and where to place it. Otherwise, you may define a decoupling
plane using the settings below.
Use
mirror plane: Check here to switch on the decoupling plane.
Plane
normal: Define here the normal orientation of the decoupling plane
parallel to an axis direction X, Y or Z.
Position
X / Y / Z: Enter here the center coordinate
of your plane in normal direction.
OK
Stores the current probe settings and leaves
the dialog box.
Apply
Stores the currently defined probe. The dialog
box open remains open.
Cancel
Closes this dialog box without performing any
further action.
Preview
Checks the values and shows the Probe as a Preview.
