This block implements the generalized transmission line.
For transmission lines consisting of two isolated, loss-free conductors in a homogenious medium, the longitudinal field components are zero. Assuming z as the direction of propagation, the transversal field components show a dependency (regarding time-harmonic fields):

Therefore, the phase velocity equals the phase velocity in free space (filled with the transmission line medium).
The block is characterized by the properties listed below. To modify the values, use the Block Properties – Parameters dialog box. The common transmission line properties are defined by a Reference Block.
