Coloring type
Select the quantity
that should be plotted:
Momentum,
Gamma,
Beta,
Velocity,
Energy
Particle sampling
Adjusts the number of plotted trajectories.
Time sampling
Adjusts the sampling rate of the trajectories, in order to improve the plot quality or plot performance.
Frames per second
Specify the speed of the animation in frames per second (frame rate). Each frame corresponds to a single time step. In cases where a large number of particles are visualized, the frame rate is not the only dominating factor of the animation velocity.
Time scale
Time scale slider
The time scale slider control offers the possibility to plot the trajectory at one defined time step. Press the Plot button to make changes visible.
Animate
Animates the trajectory plot to visualize the dynamic behavior of the particles. During the animation all parameters of the particle plot dialog box can be changed.
Stop
The animation can be stopped by pressing the Stop button.
Visualization
Do not show crashed particles
Hide trajectories of particles, that are already absorbed by solids or
by model boundaries.
Show intersections with
cutplane
Display the intersection points of trajectories and cutplane as circles.
Cutplane control
See Cutting Plane control.
Location
See Cutting Plane control.
Close
Closes this dialog box without performing any further action.
Color ramp...
Choose a different coloring model for the trajectory data.
Specials...
Opens the Particle Plot Specials dialog box for further settings.
Export Bitmap
Exports a bitmap of the current trajectory plot named image.bmp in the directory "<example dir>\TrajectoryPlots\imageXXXX.bmp". The bitmap can be used to generate a trajectory movie for demonstration purposes.
