PIC 2D Monitors

Simulation: MonitorsPIC Position MonitorPIC 2D Monitor

The PIC 2D monitor collects the complete charge that moves through the user defined monitor face within each time interval (step width). That means, that the mean value in time of the monitored charge and current is independent from the chosen step width. Therefore the step width defines only the granularity of the plots.

Note that this monitor type behaves different in the CST Studio 2009 and former versions.
