Name
Specify the name of the new shape to be created by the extrude action. If multiple faces are picked, the additional created shapes will have appended indices to that name.
Height
Height of the new shapes.
Use picks
The last picked point is used for determination of the height.
Height by 1st face
If multiple faces and a point are picked, you can choose that all extrudes will have the same height that is calculated for the first picked face and the point (checked), or whether the height for each extrude is calculated individually between each face and the picked point.
Twist
A planar face can be twisted during the extrusion. Specify the twist angle in degree. Angles <0 and >360 degree are also possible.
Taper
A planar face can be resized during the extrusion. You can specify a taper angle from &endash;89 to 89 degree.
Component
Choose a new component from the select list. You can also create a new component by typing the name of the new component.
Material
Select the material to which the shapes will be assigned from the list of previously defined materials or create a new material by selecting [New Material...]. You can also load a material from the material library by selecting [Load from Material Library...].
OK
Press this button to finally create the shapes.
Preview
Press this button to create a preview image of the new shapes. This option is very useful to check the settings before you actually create the shapes.
Cancel
Closes this dialog box without performing any further action.
