2. Select reference face on selected model

3. Select reference face on current model

4. Twist model by pushing TAB or using pick operations

Alignment steps

When you first enter the mode, you will be asked to double-click to mark the reference face on the objects to align.

After the first face has been selected, the next step is to choose the reference face of the current model. The selected model will be transformed in a way that these two faces are touching each other. Press ENTER to apply the current transformation or proceed with the next step to twist the transformed model.

For the rotation step you may push TAB (multiple times) to rotate the selection by multiples of 90° and hit RETURN to finish. As an alternative use the pick tools.

Use the point pick tools to get a baseline between this point and the rotation center or use the edge pick tools to define the direction. Then you pick a second point or edge on the current model to define the twist angle between the two models.

Note: In the third and forth step you may maximize the amount of pickable shapes by pressing "+", return to the default set by "-".

Undo last step

You may go back to the last step by pressing the BACKSPACE key.
