Creating Projects

To create a new project, click New on the File menu. An icon for the new project appears in the project window’s Project tree. You specify the name of the project when you save it, by using the Save or Save As command on the File menu.

To create a new project:

1. On the File menu, click New.

2. Insert a design of the appropriate type by doing either of the following:

• On the Project menu, click Insert EM Design, Insert System Design, Insert Circuit Design, or Insert Netlist Design.

• In the project tree, right-click the icon for the current project and select Insert, and then select Insert EM Design, Insert System Design, Insert Circuit Design, or Insert Netlist Design.

The Choose a Layout Technology dialog box appears.
