Specifying Solution Settings

You can choose from two types of analysis setup for an EM Design depending on the solver you wish to use: PlanarEM or HFSS. In any of the solution setup dialogs described below. Rstore the default settings by clicking Use Defaults.

Planar EM and HFSS setups support adaptive refinement at multiple frequencies. In addition to the standard Delta S convergence criteria, Planar EM and HFSS setups also support adaptive convergence criteria based on Output Variables.
