Add Transmit Jitter

Add Transmit Jitter

To add random Gaussian transmit jitter to the input signal:

1. Select the Eye Source and open its Properties window.

2. Click on the txrj button to open the Enter parameter data dialog:

3. Enter 5e-11 in Row 1 as shown. This value (0.05ns) will be the standard deviation of the jitter distribution. Click OK to close the Enter parameter data dialog, then click OK to close the Properties window.

4. Click on the Analyze icon and select Analyze from the menu to rerun both simulations.

5. Open the VE and QE reports again to see the results with jitter. Here is the QE Eye report:
