Nexxim Design

Nexxim Design

Nexxim is an analog simulator for high-speed, high-density circuit designs. Nexxim provides analyses in the time and frequency domains for all levels of projects, from individual transistor models to large-scale integrated devices and communication channels. This topic introduces you to Nexxim by showing how to create and analyze two simple circuit projects:

• A mixer with Nexxim Transient and Harmonic Balance analyses.

• A communication channel with Nexxim VerifEye and QuickEye analyses.

In this topic you will learn:

• How to create the two circuit designs with the schematic editor.

• How to set up and run Nexxim transient, harmonic balance, QuickEye, and VerifEye analyses.

• How to display simulation results using Designer’s reporting functions.

Both circuits are also available in the Examples directory. This topic includes links to open the designs in Designer.

This topic assumes you are already familiar with the Designer basics discussed in the online help section Designer Desktop. Some familiarity with the Schematic Editor is also helpful. If needed, refer to Schematic Editor in the online help.
