Loading Built-in Examples

Filter Design Tool has built-in examples and you may copy their specifications into the design wizard. All examples are taken from well-known filter literature. The design wizard solutions, however, differ from those in the literature, depending on the approximations and optimizations made.

To load specifications from an example:

4. To bring up the dialog, click Load Example in the Properties page of the design wizard.

5. In the dialog box, in the example tree on the left, find the topology you are interested in.

6. Click on any of the examples under that topology. The reference where the example is taken from will be displayed on the right.

7. Click OK.

Note

Examples are given for only some of the topologies. More examples will be provided in the upcoming versions.
