Exporting the Electrical or Physical Circuit

To export a filter into Designer, click Electrical circuit or Physical circuit on the Filter>Export submenu. The exported item will be opened in a window and its icon will appear as a circuit item under the project tree. Exported items are numbered so each time an export is performed the number is increased by 1. Several exported items may accumulate under the project tree, just delete the ones you do not want to work with.

Exporting the electrical circuit also exports all schematic information including Q factors. Exporting the physical circuit exports all layout objects including transmission lines, coupled lines and MCPLs. Physical data also contains the substrate information, which can be viewed under the Data icon for the exported circuit item.
