Type
Choose the type of the magnetic source field:
Constant magnetic field: A constant magnetic field inside the whole computational domain.
Constant magnetic flux density: A constant magnetic flux density inside the whole computational domain.
1D Description: A rotationally symmetric magnetic field Bz defined along the axis (w of WCS or z of GCS) of the active coordinate system. The resulting magnetic field is computed by the formula:
If a WCS (working coordinate system) is activated, the B-Field values describe the magnetic flux along the w-axis of the WCS.
Field vector Frame
X, Y, Z
Specify the magnetic field vector of the constant source field. Please note that the source field has to fulfill the boundary conditions.
B-Field along w/z axis Frame
Description of the normal component of the B-field along the w-axis of the WCS or z-axis of the GCS.
Insert
Inserts a row above the current cursor's position into the B-Field list. Default Position and the B-Field default values are entered automatically by averaging the values above and below of the inserted row. Of course, these default values can be changed by yourself.
Delete Value
Deletes the row at the current position of the Cursor in the B-Field list.
Delete All
Deletes the complete list of B-Field values.
Import...
Imports a list of tangential B-field values along the axis. The ASCII-file should have the form: "Pos Value\n", separated by a blank.
Export...
Exports the B-Field values to a text-file.
OK
Confirms the changes and closes the dialog.
Cancel
Closes this dialog box and cancels all changes you have made in this dialog box.
Reset
Deletes the source field definition.
