Mode Impedance and Calibration

Simulation: Sources and Loads Waveguide Port Define Lines...

Impedance, calibration and polarization lines are currently available only for models with tetrahedral mesh representations.

Mode / Impedance / Calibration / Polarization table:

This table shows the impedance, calibration and polarization lines used for the respective mode. You may change the settings of each table entry by selecting the desired cell of the table and either rename the mode or change the line for the impedance, calibration or polarization by using the dropdown list box in the respective table cell.

Add...:

Opens the Impedance and Calibration Line dialog box to define lines that may be used as impedance, calibration and polarization lines for a specific mode.

Rename:

This button is only activated if one row in the Mode / Impedance / Calibration / Polarization table is selected. If pressed, the focus is set to mode number of the selected row, enabling you to change the mode number. However, you may also rename the mode number if you first select the desired row in the table, click directly on the mode number to be changed and type the new mode number.

Delete:

This button is only activated if one row in the Mode / Impedance / Calibration / Polarization table is selected. If pressed, the selected row will be deleted from the table.

Clear:

If pressed, all previously defined lines and modes will be deleted.

Copy:

This button is only activated if one row in the Mode / Impedance / Calibration / Polarization table is selected. If pressed, the settings of the selected row are copied and inserted at the end of the table.

OK

Closes the dialog box and returns to the Waveguide Port dialog box. If any modes are defined, the according check box in the Ports dialog will be checked to automatically activate this feature.
