Navigation Tree: Tasks<Task Name>Properties

This task starts an arbitrary simulation for a particular block by simply running the specified solver whenever the task gets updated.

Please note that updating the task runs the corresponding solver in the same way as starting it manually from the user interface, but any interactive questions concerning deleting of incompatible results, etc. will be suppressed. This might potentially lead to interferences with other tasks, so special care has to be taken when using up this kind of tasks.

The results generated by a simulation task of this type refer to the results of the corresponding block's project. These results can be accessed from the navigation tree.

Block name

Select the name of the block from the list  for which a particular solver should be executed. The list will show all blocks on the schematic which support running individual solvers.

Project type

Select the type of the project to which the desired solver belongs to.

Solver type

Select the particular solver which should be launched for the specified block whenever the task gets updated.

Settings

This button becomes visible if the selected project type and solver type combination requires some specific solver settings in order to support some workflows. Pressing this button opens another dialog box to adjust selected solver settings.

OK

Closes this dialog box.

Cancel

Closes this dialog box without performing any further action.

Shows this help text.
