Step 3: Computing the total discrete time output voltages of an electrical sub-design.

Once the poles and their residues have been obtained, a linear impulse invariant transfer function is created for each frequency response obtained in step 1. For each input sample, an output sample is determined without the need for a convolution, which demands the integration of length equal to the impulse response function for each output sample. This process is similar to that of the implementation of an FIR or IIR filter in the digital realm.
