Script Guide

The Ansoft Designer® scripting suite is comprised of a varied set of powerful script commands designed to match the data access and modification methods that exist in the Designer user interface. Scripting methods are available that can select, query, and modify objects associated with the various editors and components within Designer. Additional scripting operations allow for the creation, deletion, and modification of objects within Designer’s various editors. Objects are identified using a unique ID that is first generated and then returned by an invoked script. This unique ID can then be passed onto other script commands and be used to modify additional objects or to invoke additional operations.
