Finding Elements

Finding Elements

To find one or more elements in the Schematic Editor:

1. On the Edit menu, click Find Elements. This opens the Find Elements dialog.

2. Click on Instancename to open a pull-down menu that displays the elements to search for.

3. Click on Contains to open a pull-down menu that displays the criteria to search with.

4. You can also enter an amount in the Value column that the element Contains or Does not Contain.

5. You can find elements using the following controls:

• Check a Filter box to include an element in the search

• Check an Options box to vary the scope of the search.

Elements found in the search are displayed in the Results window of the Find Element dialog and are highlighted in the Schematic Editor.
