Job Submissions

Job Submissions

Use the following guidelines for job submissions to the LSF Scheduler.

1. Close the current project and login to one of the machines in the cluster.

2. Use the LSF tool 'batch submit': bsub

3. Specify ALL job parameters as command-line parameters to 'bsub'.
(Pre/post-scripts can be associated with a job.)

Example:

bsub -n 4 -o <outfile> -e <errmsgs> <designer> -ng -BatchSolve -Distributed <proj-path>

where:

"-n 4" specifies the number of slots needed for this job

"<outfile>" specifies that all slots go to distributed processing

"-ng" specifies a headless workstation
