Interpolating Fast Frequency Sweep

An adaptive rational-function interpolation method is used to perform the Interpolating Fast sweep. For example, to generate an Interpolating Fast frequency sweep from 2 GHz to 6 GHz:

• Designer generates a solution at 2 GHz and at 6 GHz.

• The range solutions are then compared to each other and, if they do not fall within a certain accuracy percentage, a third point, chosen by Designer, is added between the points with the greatest discrepancy, and is then solved for.

• Designer continues refining the problem until it obtains an accurate solution for the entire frequency range.

To view more information about the solution, increase the number of steps and perform the sweep again. Be aware that if you choose to use adaptive analysis, the system refines the mesh only at the adaptive frequency. It then uses the resulting mesh, without further refinement, at all other frequency points.
