Schematic Editor Designs

Schematic Editor Designs

Users can choose to develop their designs using the Designer Schematic Editor. The basic steps in this process are:

1. Open Designer. See Starting Designer.

2. Create a new project by selecting File>New from the Designer top menu bar.

3. Insert a new Nexxim schematic design by selecting Insert Circuit Design from the Project menu in the top menu bar. This step opens the Designer Schematic Editor.

4. Use the Nexxim Components and Schematic Editor menus to place and wire all circuit components and assign instance and model parameters to devices.

• See Designer Desktop for information on placing components.

5. Set up the Nexxim analysis to be performed.

6. Run the analysis.

7. Create and view one or more reports from the analysis results.
