Specifying the Location of Library Files

You can relocate the base library directory to a new valid library location. To specify a new library directory:

1. Click Tools > Options > General Options.

2. In the Directories group in the Project Options tab, type the new folder location in the Library Directory box, or use the browse button to specify it.

3. Click OK.

To return the library directory specification to its default value, click Reset Library Directory.

The personal library (PersonalLib) folder is located at <Project Directory>\PersonalLib, where <Project Directory> is the location you specified for your Designer projects. To specify a new location for the PersonalLib folder, you must specify a new project directory location. To do this:

1. On the Tools menu, point to Options, and then click General Options.

2. In the Directories group in the Project Options tab, type the new folder location in the Project Directory box, or use the browse button to specify it.

3. Click OK.
