Setting the Drag Mode

In the Edit Layers window, the Drag Mode column indicates how each metal layer is aligned with a neighboring dielectric layer. The two must touch and may overlap.

To specify a layer’s drag mode:

1. In the Edit Layers window, click the Stackup tab.

2. For each metal layer, select one of the following drag modes from the pull-down list:

• top align

• middle align

• bottom align

• manual align
