           Local Nodes

Local Nodes

Node names within the subcircuit definition that are NOT in the list of boundary nodes are local nodes whose names are valid only inside the subcircuit. In subcircuit sub1 above, the node sub1local is a local node. A local node requires a hierarchical node name to be referenced outside of the subcircuit definition, as described in Hierarchical Names.

CONNECT statements in subcircuit definitions are local to the subcircuit. See CONNECT Statement for details.
