CITIfile Format

CITIfile Format

CITIfile (“Common Instrumentation Transfer and Interchange”) is an ASCII-based format originally developed by Hewlett-Packard (now Agilent Technologies). CITIfile format files containing frequency-dependent data can be both imported into and exported from Designer. A CITIfile file contains a single “package” consisting of a header followed by one or more arrays of data.

Note

• The CITIfile format is case-insensitive. In these help topics, CITIfile keywords are shown in upper case, but that is not required.

• In Designer, a CITIfile file can contain only a single package (header plus data). Packages after the first one in a file will be ignored.
