who is working on UWB antennas？

It has been a very hot topic to design small UWB antennas overseas. Are anyone doing this?

小型化、宽带化一直是很热门的，难度也很大，做的人也很多，不知小编是想交流呢还是想招人呢

just heard that there will be a short course available in IEEE Expert Now！ which is about UWB antennas. 

国有几个组在这方面做得好。东大南邮清华等。但似乎没有形成规模在国际上有影响。其实这是一个很好的机会去发展小型宽带天线技术。希望越来越多的人有兴趣。

好像以色列的超宽带做的最好

国内UWB天线基本上都是论文做得多，能拿出手的实际产品没几个。
本人很不幸也是捣腾这个东西出身的。说实话，阻抗带宽做到30:1甚至40:1都不是什么难事，最难的还是方向图和增益的稳定性，基本还没有什么好办法，本人一直在尝试解决这个问题，虽然最近也有一点小小的想法，但效果还是非常有限。
国外的UWB小天线也作了很多，包括陶瓷工艺的实验性产品，但实际上都有致命的缺陷，使用范围很窄。 没办法，老外也不见得比华人高明到哪里去，大家都是出来道上混，无非为了填饱肚子，有时甚至会感喟：何必这么认真?
但有时不认真，倒也真不行——不弄点突破，早晚有一天这个方向的金子挖完了，大家都没法混下去了，所以总要有个老大站出来挖坑，才能吸引芸芸众生往里面灌水嘛！
至于这个挖坑的老大是谁，也许哪天机遇砸到这论坛里面的某一位，那自然就是他了。
一般情况下，抱着务实的态度，还是做阵列天线比较有前（钱）途；当然，能有特种天线的项目，也不愁没饭吃。
只是整天折腾一个部件，哪怕做成老油子，发展也是有限的。我想，有想法的同行，肯定都在想法转型做系统吧。

sounds reasonable. it is good to explore the possibility to integrate antenna with other circuits because the size of the devices has being became smaller and smaller.

想请教一下，“阻抗带宽做到30:1甚至40:1都不是什么难事”这里的30：1/40：1指的是相对带宽吗?
不知道有没有已经成型的设计可以拿出来让大家分享分享。
