The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is inviting candidates to apply for a position as a Research Associate/Post-Doc Fellow. The position is a full-time appointment arising out of research grants. The appointment is for a period of one year, starting in Oct. 2007. The position is renewable for one more year subject to satisfactory performance. Applicants require a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related areas.
The duties of the successful candidate include work as a Research
Associate/Post-Doc to assist Dr. Saadat Mehr in his research in Signal
Processing. The candidate is expected to carry out research on the
applications of Signal Processing Techniques in Communication Systems or Power Systems.
