请教新闻组问题

现在想订阅ns的新闻组
请问，这些新闻组是国外的，而教育网不能出国，是不是必须用代理才能订阅呢？
还有就是outlook中的代理如何设置？
设置新闻组时候要给一个电子邮件地址，这个电子邮件地址和新闻组有何关系？

教育网是有点麻烦，公网就很好用，我不太会用outlook，
这个邮件地址就是你接受ns新闻所用的地址

你所受到的邮件是类似于下面这个例子的

Hi,
I installed ns-2.1b9a in the Windows XP successfully(I don't use cygwin,in that it turns out to
be a failure after two days' try ).However,it seems that "ns example1a.tcl" doesn't work which
was copyed to the directory C:\NetSim\ns-2.1b9a.In addition, I input "ns" and then "%"
appears.But when I try "ns exampe1a.tcl"again,it says
   "Warning:use bakward compatibility mode<br>    error when calling class OldSim:example1a.tcl"
Does anyone know how to run the script in my computer?Thanks in advanc!

hello,
I've generated a scenerio and traffic model and
started simulating the DSR protocol. but I'm getting the
following things in the shell.It shows a "segmentation fault"
and aborts.
can anyone please help me how to solve the problem?
I used the same scenerio file and traffic model in AODV
protocol and worked nicely.
plz reply me, I'm in dire need.

Hi,
I have installed EURANE patch to ns-2.29.3 release on Fedore 5 core
(kernel version 2.6.15, gcc version 4.1.0).
Without the EURANE patch only some validation tests on test-suite-red.tcl
fails that is the known problem with the Fedora core
(http://nsnam.isi.edu/nsnam/index.php/User_Information#Validating_your_build).
However, after EURANE patching more validations tests fail:

Notice that some tests in webcache will fail on freebsd when -O is turned on.
This is due to some event reordering, which will disappear when -g is turned on.

Has someone else noticed the same behaviour with the EURANE patch and/or analysed
what may be the reason and how meaningfull/serious the variations in
the results are? Any idea how to correct the patch?
BTW. To make EURANE patch work in 2.29.3 you don't need gcc patch for
ns-2.28. However, you have to check manually EURANE patch code
because due to differences between
2.28 and 2.29.3 all files cannot be patched correctly.

Hi,
I need to simulate WLAN in infrastructure mode, but as I understand in ns2
mobile nodes donot make authentication /association as per IEEE 802.11. The
association of a mobile node with BS is automatic.
Please correct if my finding are wrong and there is a method to do
auth/assoc.
Also any pointer for adding the auth/assoc wi;; be great help. Specially
should I make a new agent or modify mac.

我们实验室的ip是受限的，不能访问国外地址

ns新闻是发送到你的邮箱里面的，不是你的机器里面，比方说你的163信箱或gmail信箱，这个应该肯定能收到nsuserlist的mail，然后你在教育网里面总该能上163吧

现在找到了，可以给outlook设置代理了
主要是开始定制新闻组时候，需要在outlook上面指定服务器，并进行连接

还有能不能给一个服务器地址？
在教育网上折腾新闻组真受罪
本来就不太会，ip访问还有问题，出了错，还不知道是设置错误，还是ip无法访问的错误

我一直搞不清楚这个outlook究竟是如何收信的软件，不太会啊，outlook指定服务器是什么的服务器？163的mail的服务器？

不是你直接从你在学校里面教育网的机器从在铁幕另一端的ns官方ns新闻服务器上下载新闻，而是用你任意一个网上邮箱，比如163的信箱订阅ns官方新闻组的新闻自动发送的服务，你所需要的只是经常查看自己的163信箱，不需要你的机器直接访问ns网页，所以建议你可以到校外的网吧里面用163信箱订阅一下ns新闻组

我整明白了
现在的新闻组不需要特殊的客户端了
只需要跑到ns的网页上订购新闻组，留下自己的信箱就行了
直接在信箱里面收信，就成了
