General Purpose          
Manages people in an R&D organisational unit; competence area or cost centre. Leads and facilitates the teams in reaching their targets. Contributes to defining the strategy and is responsible for implementing it in own unit/area/centre. Has full responsibility for budgeting; career and competence development and recruiting in his/her unit/area/ centre.    
                            
Main Responsibility Area          
Leads and manages R&D team, including performance management, competence development, induction, Compensation & Benefits etc. Maintains orderly work processes by coordinating work flow and work quality. Resolves problems through immediate actions or short-term planning and sets priorities to ensure task completion. Adheres to established practices and procedures in work area. Builds an environment that supports cooperation and cohesiveness among the work team and with other areas within the organisation.    
                            
Job Description          
NSN LTE TDD R&D Hangzhou is looking for a highly technical and charismatic leader to be a R&D manager in Hangzhou. You should have with experience building a world-class R&D organization and driving technical projects in an innovative and fast paced environment. You will be responsible for creating and managing the R&D teams and for the overall planning, execution, and success of the projects. You will also provide a contact for Global NSN site operations with other offices in the World.
