新加坡南洋理工博士后职位

One or two postdoc (research fellow) positions are open for Computer
networking related projects under the Centre for Multimedia and Network
Technology (CeMNet), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
The successful candidate(s) will conduct research and development in mainly
two areas: wireless sensor networks (WSNs) and/or P2P media streaming.
In the first topic, we are seeking to apply newly appeared technologies (e.g.,
compressed sensing, diversity sensing) to WSNs for further improving the
network performance. In the second topic, we are focusing on streaming
applications beyond 2D video such as the collaborate artwork. The research work will also involve implementations and demonstrations of the technology
showcases.
The contract is initially for one year with a competitive salary (3500 to
4000 SGD per month), but may extend to two years (with a higher salary)
depending on the performance.
Applicants for the position should satisfy the following requirements.
1. A PhD degree in Computer Science (preferred) or a related discipline.
2. Skillful in programming (C, C++, Java, ...) and developing application
prototypes; experience in building WSN testbeds or P2P systems is a plus.
3. Sound research experience in the areas of sensor networking and/or
multimedia networking protocol design and analysis.
