Specifying Queuing Options

Specifying Queuing Options

You enable queuing as a Project option. You can also specify a single machine on which the queued simulations are to run.

To enable queuing:

1. Click Tools > Options > General Options. The General Options dialog opens.

2. Click the Analysis Options tab.

3. Optionally, specify a Default Analysis Location ( the default is to run on your local machine).

4. Select Queue all simulations to allow multiple simulations to be added to a queue and run one after another. The local or remote machine specified as the Default Analysis Location is used to queue and run the simulations. If you change the local or remote machine specified as the Default Analysis Location when the queue is not empty, the next simulation after the one currently running will be launched with the new settings.

5. Click OK to close the General Options dialog.

If you want queuing to occur on multiple distributed machines, set up the list of machines on the distributed Analysis Options tab.
