Nexxim Simulator > Model StatementsThe .MODEL statement (or card) defines additional parameter values for elements in the netlist. There are many variations on the .MODEL statement syntax. The most common format is the following: .MODEL modelname modeltype [selectors] [model-parameters] The modelname is an alphanumeric entry that uniquely identifies a model card and its set of parameters. A device instance accesses a model by referencing its modelname in the instance statement. The modeltype is a predefined token that identifies the kind of element the model pertains to, for example, R for resistor, D for diode, NMOS for NMOS MOSFET. Selectors are entries that reference a particular model implementation. Common selectors are LEVEL and VERSION. For a specific type of device, e.g., MOSFET, the LEVEL selects one model out of several available. The VERSION selects a specific version out of several available within the selected LEVEL. For example, the SAT (Saturation model) selector chooses one of four specific implementations of MESFETs with LEVEL=3. Most model parameters have predefined default values, which are listed in the component property window and in the corresponding help topic. Values for parameters that appear on the .MODEL card override the default values, creating a variation on the default model. Examples of model parameters are the parasitic capacitance of a resistor and the oxide thickness of a MOSFET. Some model parameters are calculated from instance parameters or from other model parameters. A few model parameter values cannot be defaulted or calculated, and so must be supplied by the .MODEL statement. HFSS视频教程 ADS视频教程 CST视频教程 Ansoft Designer 中文教程 |
