64b66b and 8b10b Encoding

64b66b and 8b10b encoding are common methods for reducing errors caused by long strings of 1s with embedded isolated 0s, and long strings of 0s with embedded isolated 1s. The VerifEye or QuickEye Source can be enabled to do 8b10b or 64b66b encoding on the transmitted data.

NOTE: Peak Distortion Analysis (PDA) considers the encoding when generating the worst-case bit pattern.
