Starting Designer

Once you have installed Designer, you can start the program by clicking its icon from the Windowstm desktop.

 

Or you can start Designer from the Windows Start menu:

1. Click Start.

2. Point to Programs.

3. Point to the Ansoft folder.

4. Point to the Designer folder.

5. Select the Designer executable.

Depending on your particular install configuration, you will see the Designer desktop open and appear similar to the following:

 

 

If the program fails to start, make sure you have installed the licensing option provided to you. For detailed information on installing the software and licenses, see the Designer Installation Guide.
