Device Instance Names

The name for a circuit device instance begins with a predefined character representing the device type, as detailed in Table 1.

For example, a resistor instance name must begin with the letter R, a capacitor name must begin with the letter C, a MOSFET name must begin with the letter M. Characters after the first can be alphanumerics or the special characters:
