Import HFSS

Modeling: ExchangeImport/ExportImport3D FilesHFSS

This dialog box offers HFSS project import. The shapes and the materials with its attributes will be imported.

Two different files are needed:

• The HFSS file to get the material information.

• The SM3  file to get the solid information.
  Note: You need to export the model as a SM3 file within HFSS.

First you have to choose the HFSS file. If the SM3 file has the same name it will be found automatically. Otherwise another dialog will open to choose the SM3 file.

Open

Opens the selected file.

Cancel

Closes this dialog box without performing any further action.

Copy file to project

Use this option to copy the HFSS and SM3 file to the project folder. If you save your project to another destination the files are copied automatically. For more information see Copy_file_to_project.
