Export GDSII

Modeling: ExchangeImport/Export Export 2D Files GDSII

This dialog box offers GDSII file export. With this feature you can export data to CAD systems which provide the GDSII file format.
The cross sections of all solids within the xy-plane (z=0) or &endash; if a WCS is active &endash; the uv-plane (w=0) will be stored in the GDSII file.

Multilayer Export

Please note: If you want to export multiple layers, you can pick points (indicating the height of those layers) before exporting.

Allow more than 200 polygon points

The GDSII standard allows up to 200 vertices per polygon. This might not be enough for complex structures. Some programs that import GDSII files are able to read polygons with up to 8191 points per polygon. Deactivate this option to ensure GDSII files that comply to the standard.

Save

After leaving the dialog box all exported profiles are highlighted by a red line. Press RETURN to confirm the GDSII export or ESC to cancel.

Cancel

Closes this dialog box without performing any further action.
