S-Parameter Overview

CST MICROWAVE STUDIO offers several post processing features that can be applied directly to the S-Parameters.

 

Renormalize S-Parameters

S-Parameters always refer to certain impedances. With this feature it is possible to change the corresponding reference impedances.

Deembed S-Parameter

For waveguide ports the reference plane for the S-Parameter calculation can be shifted relative to the port plane.

Exclude Port-Modes

Port modes that are (temporarily) undesired can be excluded from S-Parameter post processing.
