Planar Antenna (Mobile phone)Transient Analysis Examples - Antennas
General Description
This example shows the simulation of a Planar Antenna (PIFA) of a Mobile phone. The geometry of the antenna is imported by a CAD file. The simulation applies an AR-filter and uses a matching network in CST DESIGN STUDIO. S-parameters and farfields are calculated.
Structure Generation
The antenna is created by importing a CAD file for the geometry. Materials are assigned using the Material Library (Modeling: Materials Material Library Load from Library...). The boundary conditions are open (add space).
Solver Setup
For the excitation a discrete port (50 Ohm) is defined; the frequency range is from 0 to 2.5 GHz. Field monitors are defined at 0.9 and 1.8 GHz. The T-solver with an AR-filter is applied. The AR-filter is a linear predictor which is used to approximate the time signals. The resulting S-Parameters are independent from truncation errors. The AR filter can be employed online during the simulation (T-solver specials).
Post Processing
The scattering parameters and the time signals can be accessed through the 1D Results folder in the navigation tree. The farfield can be found in Farfields. A matching network is afterwards in CST DESIGN STUDIO applied to get the matched fields.
These three-dimensional field results can be displayed in CST MICROWAVE STUDIO: HFSS视频教程 ADS视频教程 CST视频教程 Ansoft Designer 中文教程 |
