Controls the output of the main plot window.

Cutplane

AbovePlaneMode ( enum {"hide", "wireframe", "transparent","solid"} type )

Sets the view above the cutplane.

 

DefinePlane( string nx, string ny, string nz, string px, string py, string pz )

Defines the cutplane by the normal direction and point on the plane.

 

CutPlaneNormal ( string {"x", "y", "z"} key )

Defines the normal direction of the cutplane.

 

CutPlaneRatio ( double ratio )

Defines where the cutplane will be located. A value of 0.0 for Ratio will position the cut plane at the lowest dimension of the structure in direction of CutPlaneNormal. A value of 1.0 will move the plane to the highest dimension.

 

ShowCutplane ( bool switch )

A cutplane can be defined to look inside a structure. This cutplane divides the structure into two parts, while only one of them will be plotted. The cutplane can be defined by the methods CutPlaneNormal and CutPlaneRatio.

General Methods

RotationAngle ( double angle )

Sets the angle of rotation.

 

Rotate ( string direction )

Rotates the plot in the main view. This method has no effect if 2D-Values are plotted.

 

direction can have one of the following values:

”left”

Rotates the figure to the left

”right”

Rotates the figure to the right

”up”

Rotates the figure upward

”down”

Rotates the figure downward

”clockwise”

Rotates the figure clockwise

”counterclockwise”

Rotates the figure counterclockwise

 

Update

Updates the plot.

Store Data

DeleteAllViews

For deletion of all stored views.

 

DeleteView ( string  name )

Deletes a predefined view.

 

RestoreView ( string name )

Restores a previously stored view.

 

StoreView ( string name, string parameters )

Stores the view with the specified name and all its settings. 'parameters' contains several parameters that define the view. These parameters represent the internally used transformation and projection matrices. Therefore it is strongly recommended to use this command only by storing the view by using the graphical user interface and then copying this command from the resulting history list item.

 

StoreView2 ( string name, string parameters )

Stores additional settings for the view. The parameters string is a list of options separated by spaces: int drawplane, int axis, int cutplaneState, int cutPlaneNormal, double cutplaneCoord, int bBox, int wireframe, int abovePlaneMode.

View Options

DrawBox ( bool switch )

Shows or hides the bounding box of the whole structure.

 

DrawWorkplane (  enum {"TRUE", "FALSE"} switch )

Shows or hides the working plane.

 

InnerSurfaces ( bool switch )

This setting affects the scene only if a cutplane is defined such that the inside of the structure can be seen. If switch is True then the inner surfaces will be plotted in the same color as the solid. Otherwise they will be plotted in black.

 

SurfaceMesh ( bool switch )

Displays the surface triangulation of the plotted structure. This method only takes effect if the main view shows the structure. If a tetrahedral mesh is used the surface triangles of this mesh are displayed.

 

WireFrame ( bool switch )

Toggles between two kinds of structure presentations. If switch is True the structure is plotted only by characteristic lines. Otherwise it is plotted as solid.

 

SetGradientBackground ( bool switch )

Activates the gradient background in the main view.

 

GetGradientBackground bool

Queries whether the gradient background in the main view is active.

 

SetGradientBackground ( bool switch )

Activates the gradient background mode in the main view.

 

SetBackgroundcolor( string r, string g, string b)

Set the background color in the main view.

 

GetBackgroundcolorR string

Returns the red component of the background color in the main view.

 

GetBackgroundcolorG string

Returns the green component of the background color in the main view.

 

GetBackgroundcolorB string

Returns the blue component of the background color in the main view.
