Particle Export Interface

Particle Export Interfaces can be defined to export particle data to other projects. The particle interface is defined by a plane with certain transversal extension parameters. The export interface can be defined after a GUN or tracking simulation has been defined without deleting existing results. In order to export the particle data for all interfaces to file, one has to start the Export Particle Interfaces command.

Name

Declare the name for the particle interface. Each interface must have a unique name.

Normal X/Y/Z

Define the normal of the interface plane.

Position

 

Xcut / Ycut / Zcut

Define the interface position along the plane normal.

 

Xmin / Xmax / Ymin / Ymax / Zmin / Zmax

Define the transversal expansion parameters. See the table below which parameters have to be defined if a plane normal has been chosen:

Ymin, Ymax, Zmin, Zmax

Y

Zmin, Zmax, Xmin, Xmax

Z

Xmin, Xmax, Ymin, Ymax

 

OK

Accepts the changes and closes the dialog box.

Preview

Creates a preview of the export interface with the current settings.

Cancel

Closes this dialog box without performing any further action.

Shows this help text.
