Parameter List

View: Window WindowsParameter List

Defining and changing variable names and their values represented by expressions is an essential part of a macro language and a parameterized program.

This view provides the opportunity to define, modify and delete variables; moreover, you may update your structure after you have modified a variable from within this window.

An optional dependency check completes the list of available operations.

Right click into the Parameter List or onto one of the variables to perform one of the following operations:

Undo Parameter Change

Reverts the last parameter change.

Redo Parameter Change

Reverts the last undo action.

Delete

Select a parameter from the list and press delete to remove it. Occasionally a warning will appear, notifying you that there are operations depending on this parameter.

Please note: If some operations depend on a deleted parameter the dependency will be removed. This action cannot be undone.

Find...

Search for a parameter string. Optionally case sensitive or insensitive.

Dependencies...

By selecting a variable and pressing this button, all commands in the history list will be checked for usage of the selected variable. After that, a message box will appear giving you the desired information.

Animate Parameter...

Opens the Animate Parameter dialog box  to perform multiple history rebuilds, sweeping one parameter through a user defined interval.

Print...

Print the parameter list.

Update Parametric Changes

Editing previously used variables can cause tremendous changes in your model. This might even lead to an history list which cannot be processed. By using the Update button you can check how reconfigured variables influence the model.
