System Port Voltage Source

You can set up an interface port to be a voltage source for the circuit. To specify a voltage power source value, select the port and click on the Edit button in the Edit Port field, opening the Port Definition dialog box. In the Source Definition panel, click Add. The Source Selection window opens:

• Select Voltage as the Source type. Click in the Name field to assign a name other than the default. In System designs, Port voltage sources can be Sinusoidal or Multitone Sinusoidal. Sinusoidal is the default. The display above shows the Sinusoidal parameters.

• To see a diagram of the waveform for this source, click the Diagram tab. The diagram is generalized, and does not change when you change parameter values.

• When all data for the source have been entered, click OK.

Following are the parameters for the Multitone Sinusoidal Voltage Source:
