Schematic Editor > System Port Power SourceYou can set up an interface port to be a power source for the circuit. To specify a power source value, select the port and click on the Edit button in the Edit Port field, opening the Port Definition dialog box:
In the Source Definition panel of the Port Definition dialog box, click Add. The Source Selection window opens: Make sure Power is selected (it is the default). In the System simulator, Port power sources in System designs can be Sinusoidal or Multitone Sinusoidal. The figure above shows the parameters for the Sinusoidal power source. Click in the Name field to assign a name other than the default (“Sinusoidaln”). Assign new values or units to the source parameters in the Parameters window by clicking in the Value or Unit field to be changed. To see a diagram of the waveform for this source, click the Diagram tab. The diagram is generalized, and does not change when you change parameter values. When all data for the port power source have been entered, click OK.

Click OK on the Source Selection window. The Port Definition dialog box now shows the new source. Use the Add button to create as many port power sources on this port as you wish. You can enable or disable a port source by toggling the Enable box. You can specify the parameters for a discrete time analysis (Number of Samples, Sampling Rate). When all data for the port power source have been entered, click OK.
